Site plan services:


We would be happy to assist you in your site plan needs whether you have purchased your plans from Hudson Home Designs or another designer.


A majority of the time one must acquire a professional surveyor and a designer to manage the information needed to locate your home, addition, dock, and/or any other permanent structure. This is required in order to obtain any building rights whether by permits issued from the city or county in which you are building, or for review proposes to comply with set restrictions for land and or water. If we design your project, we can even offer a topography service in aiding with the placement of the structure. This service is very helpful in knowing exactly where the structure needs to be located, analyzing drainage issues, establishing the scope of work that will be needed in preparation of the foundation, and what is existing that could be affected.  Listed below are some examples of different site plan types and explanations.


Standard Site Plan:  Consists of required documentation and dimensioning of structure and site, notated building lines and all applicable setbacks.

H. Front building line (A permanent Structure cannot be located outside this line without applying for a variance by the city in which you are building in).

I. Side building line (A permanent Structure cannot be located outside this line without applying for a variance by the city in which you are building in).

J. Rear building line (A permanent Structure cannot be located outside this line without applying for a variance by the city in which you are building in).
